Information theory

Information theory gives uncertainty a unit (the bit) and proves hard limits: how much a channel can carry, how far a message can be compressed, how much a signal can be cleaned, how little you can encode it in. It began as a theory of communication and turned out to describe far more.

It is the spine of our research. Retrieval, prompting, and hallucination are literally information problems, and the same math that governs a phone line governs how reliably an AI or a business moves information. The honest limits it sets are why we prefer 'the constraint moves' to 'uncapped.'
